Tetsuya Nomura draws some really hot stuff (Parasite Eve = Hot stuff), but his overuse of belts in design is sort of a joke. ...Except with Lulu, who embraces over-the-top belts so much that it's awesome.

The idea was to parody the belt thing, but I threw in some zippers and netted stuff. People have asked, "Where's the huge sword?", but if she was gonna have a weapon...it'd be a whip. Made of belts.

*nyanko-chan said that we'll someday see him design a character wearing nothing but belts. So yeah, that's pretty much what inspired the picture!
The idea for a boob belt was stolen from ~Lackshmana. It was a very funny idea.

I stink for not posting art in a while, but pretty much everything that looks cool is under wraps for now. Bah!

You've gotta admit, Tetsuya makes excessive zipperage and beltage look great! It's only a matter of time before it becomes the new fad.

That said, I like what you did (the boob belt was wtf, but oh well)--you managed to make it look over the top, yet somehow still visually appealing!

Jesus. The belt boobs (lawl) look uncomfortable, but it's still kickass to the max. I think the belts in the hair is my favorite part.

lol yeah I'd have to agree with the over use of belts, he's a great artist but there's rather strange use of belts when they not even practical. It's become more of a fashion statement even outside of games. By the way great picture, most righteous xD
