This here is fanart for the book Dream Thief, written by Jai Nitz and drawn by Greg Smallwood, to be released in May through Dark Horse! Last month Jai asked his art-buddies to draw pinups that we could post online to help promote the book, so here's my take (I'm way pleased with the inks so move over, colors).

The writing is Jai's brand of entertaining kickass smartass and Greg Smallwood's art is bangin'. I'll be snatching it up, come May - hope you'll give it a look!

HelicaseHelio and I were always sitting on the stairs, chatting about the lamina and occasionally making snide remarks about ribosomes. There wasn't much for us to do. Our job was to simply be, and let the RNA scribble down the letters on our foreheads when they came around every once in a while. Helio was a G, I was a C. It wasn't exactly fulfilling, I suppose. There wasn't much to be filled. So to pass the time, we talked.
"You ever wonder?" Helio asked.
"About what?"
